Huseby Bruk's Gardens and Park
Reinstated kitchen garden
Huseby orchard and kitchen garden, which was set up at the end of the nineteenth century, is once again a productive and beautiful market garden. The next few years will see the garden develop, with new fruit trees and bushes, dazzling beds of flowers and an improved section for vegetables.
The National Property Board renovated the garden in the autumn of 2001, and reopened it in its new state in early summer 2002.
Increased crops for the restaurant and farm shop
The renovation is based on a plan from the 1950s, with the organic cultivation methods certified by KRAV in 1994. The aim of the renovation is to make Huseby park and the gardens a functioning unit producing increased crops.
Huseby Bruk dates back to the early seventeenth century.
